I only managed to take some lousy photos of the fireworks. And you can't possibly expect my camera to take good shots that far, from my room to the fireworks.
They aren't very good.
Well, I actually went to the extend of using the digital zoom. That's why it isn't that clear, so it is best viewed just like that. Click it, you'll get super awful pictures. The quality isn't good. And the one before the last one (a little green) is really bad.
So, those are all I chose among the others... Isn't very nice though. I'll be changing blog (:

I have to take back my words - I had mentioned that my last post of 2006 will be the previous one - but not now after all... I'll try to snap a few photos of the fireworks and post it here if I can. And I'm only taking it from my room so it may NOT be what is expected. What's more, I would like to leave a tag at my friends' blogs around midnight! WOO HOO! A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL!

I just realised that there are a lot of Maha Bodhians going into CCHSM. I read their blogs and I made this small conclusion. CCHSM is a SAP school. Yes, they do offer Special course. Just like Anglican High, Dunman High, Catholic etc. But personally, I do not like that school... (DISCLAIMER TO THOSE WHO ARE THERE) But, the school's 'O' Level results - the standard - they're dropping. I know they have a lake, which I also think it is beautiful. I've been there before, and I've seen it with my eyes. I'm not criticising people who wants to go to that school, nor am I saying "THAT SCHOOL SUCKS, MY SCHOOL IS BETTER." I'm not saying that my school is better, stuff like that. My school may or may not be better, but that is perfectly alright. They are, after all, just my thoughts, what I think of that school. Apparently, a great deal of people hopes to get into CCHSM. Some people I know - Wei Ling, Hui Xian, Pei Shan, Calista, Tai Quan, Shernise... etc. Amanda's appealing to there (: I do hope she would succeed in doing so, and I mean it. =) But, going to that school doesn't mean that your results will be going downhill, of course. It depends on yourself, you study hard and get excellent results, that is clearly a marvellous thing. As long as you strive for excellence, study hard, that is indeed a good thing! However, you may get into a superb school, but if you do not work hard, what's the use of it?
Well, anyway, I would like to wish a particular nice friend of mine all the best in her appealing. She was actually posted to a school that is not within her choices. (Yes, a SHE. Many would know who is that.) I do hope she would succeed in her appealing, because I know it very well that her academic results is actually around my standard. Her results for this examination may not be that ideal but a flop. Perhaps she studied too hard and was stressed up... ): We had a conversation over the phone many days ago, probably a few weeks ago. She sound perfectly optimistic! That's really good.
Actually, I'm probably thinking too much because everything is over! This will be my last post for 2006, maybe I'd change a blog =)

I pray real hard that my applied third language will be a success! Actually, during the reporting to posted school on the 22nd of Dec I went to the school to apply for Malay. Yes, it's Malay. Sounds very awkard, you think? Because, apparently I could have offered either Japanese, French or German language but then I chose neither ): ... It's under that 'Malay (Special Prog) if I'm not wrong. And, if it really succeeds, also if it's held at the MOE language centre at Bishan... HA HA HA *fantasizing*. The main thing I'm thinking is that I could visit J8 after my lessons :D :D :D However, if it's not, well, I have nothing to say lor. Just learn it. But on the other hand, French sounds really good because it is rather similar to English in some cases... Anyway, no point thinking of that I can't do anything =)
Today I went to the optometrist to make a new pair of spectacles. It is frameless, but firstly, I thought that I wouldn't have a frameless actually. I feel like posting the picture that I took. XD forget it, I'm lazy.
Next thing, I would like to post about Nina's house warming (though it has already been almost a week). So, a brief description:
1. Nina has this toy snake from IKEA! Green in colour, and it's also quite long too.
2. Nina has little pets that aren't as scary as dogs. (: A chinchilla and three hamsters if I had not left out anything else.
3. Anyway, people that were present: NINA (of course), RAINA ( :D ), SIYING, CLARA, TAI QUAN, XIN REN, FANG XIANG, ZE HAO. I hope I didn't left anyone out.
4. We actually played in the pool - the baby pool. But Mr Security disrupted a number of times.
5. Nina and Raina's cellphones malfunctioned after that. This isn't a good thing, of course.
6. At night, we played ice-and-water within the two adjacent playgrounds. Girls were the... catchers? (Ice or water, I don't know!) It was fun (:
7. TQ, ZH, RAINA and I walked on the path made of half-buried pebbles, I don't know what do you call that. One word: PAIN...
8. Yeah, during Truth or Dare (or perhaps it wasn't?) I remembered Clara ... "making hell" for ZH. XD I'm having a temptation for posting a photo that I shot. ZH's state... But I think, the best is not to because... it looked very, well. He was clutching his face using both hands. Imagine? Haha.

1. Study hard =) I want to top my class. But, firstly, can I? A person don't just get onto a mountain top, he climbs! At the same time, I would like to get into a different school after two years in XMS... It's NOT impossible =)

HELLO! Well, anyway, today was the release of posting results. And we've got to go to get it from our holding school. So, I said I would shoot some photos. Here you go:
The third one is he school hall. Looks very old.
The pictures above include a little of those classrooms' block. And you can see it wasn't big.
The area was small. Simply small. And the classrooms weren't that big. Moreover, I've no idea where Maha Bodhians would assemble when school reopens. Because I didn't see any parade square there - we used to have one in Ubi. Probably, in future they won't be any assemblys after all. :D You can see the little grassfield.
Alicia suggested I take this. It's a picture painted on a wall. The painting looks nice and seems like it's newly-painted.

Anyway, after that I went to IKEA Tampines with my mom. I actually went there on 30 Nov which was when the IKEA branch open. So this was my second trip to there. I did not take any photos then, but now I managed to.
I went to dine at the Cafe there, which I did not during the previous trip.
CHEESECAKE! HAHA I love cheese :P And others I did not take.
Guess what's this? Actually, I think it's something that has got to do with NEWater. If I'm not wrong. They are rather enormous.
I bought a mini christmas tree from IKEA. I tried rotating it but then it just appears like that. Never mind though. It's just a mini tree and I thought I could decorate it since Christmas is around the corner. If I succeed, I shall post it here HEHE.
Oh, yes. One more thing. I WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND MY HEARTFELT CONGRATULATIONS TO ALICIA (NYGH) AND OTHER FRIENDS WHO GOT INTO SCHOOLS THEY LIKE! That's all for now, goodbye!
Today - as usual - I saw this article in ST. And I took a photo of it. Why? Because if you realise, the headline is being CAPS LOCKED and it's big. Not those usual ones. Besides, it's something about Chelsea.
It's regarding Everton and Chelsea. Because Jose called Everton's striker Andy Johnson a "diver" when he was actually trying to avoid Chelsea's goalkeeper. And "WE'LL SUE" - Everton wants to sue Chelsea.
Next thing, Jose apologises! HAHAHA.
Wenger is charged with improper conduct days after being fined regarding the incident between him and Pardew. But Pardew isn't West Ham's manager anymore.
The gap between Man Utd and Chelsea is just a mere two points. How sad.

So here's another picture. I took this from the papers, I mean newspaper - HOME section. I thought it was nice. Because of the bird, or flying creature, falcon, whatever it is and the words. The picture is not edited, no touch-up hence there's a little uneven sight there. This flying creature appears to be "flying in" and that made the words "topple". I reckon it's rather a pretty picture. That's all. I'll wait for tomorrow and see what's there to shoot.

Finally, today's the day. After what seemed like eternity. Today - Sunday, 17/12 - third week since I made my reservation for N73. My patience ran out, so I decided to go to check. Three weeks, no phone calls, nothing. Went there, and there was a nice male staff who helped to get this number, you know when you have to queue and you'll get this kind of queue number. He took this number which is, special, something like that. Or you call that 'jumping queue'. Ha ha.
I got my phone, today! It's nice. Look out for pictures in future taken from my phone posted here next time.
Went to Alicia's party today. Or rather 6 Joy class gathering. Something like this lah.
I had a horrible time wrapping presents. Bought them from j8 because I went there to watch Eragon :D The movie is a little different from the book. Like, for instance, Saphira - the dragon - wasn't the one who told Eragon her name in the book. But, no complains lah, I got to watch it. Next year, keep a lookout for Harry Potter! Besides, Eragon's ending song was sung by Avril Lavigne - Keep Holding On. NICE XD
I took a long time to wrap the gifts. From 1am till 3-4am. And I did not do a great job either. So I went to bed immediately after that. *YAWNS* Next day - I woke up at 8am. To plug my phone from the charger out. And then, poom, back to sleep. To my horror, really, it was 11+am. I wasn't supposed to wake up this late today, gosh. Alicia's house. When I got there it was 2+pm. Many people were already there. So, am I considered late? Aha. But, as the saying goes, BETTER LATE THAN NEVER.
For now, I will only be typing a brief desciption. Gotta return to my bed. zZZ.
Some 'highlights' here:
1. We played water, using the tap near the barbeque pit. And there was this old lady pushing an old man on a wheelchair. We were filling up the waterbags then, and she just happened to pass by. She saw what we were doing and she said something like: Hey don't waste water, do you know where Singapore buy their water from? Johor! If Johor don't sell to us, we will die. Something like that. Quite true though, but we hid the waterbombs. Kept them out of her sight. And we paused everything. Then we waited for her to leave that area, and continue filling them up. Like that (: And TQ sort of imitated the old lady while we were doing so.
2. There was stingray! AHA. Superb. With all that spicy chilli *HUGE GRIN* And sausages with cheese inside. Marvellous. Chicken wings, satay, beehoon, and stuff.
3. Mrs Goh came! YAY. Supposingly, Mrs Yew, Mr Goh, they should have came. Mrs Yew said her daughter was down with high fever that's why she can't attend this. Aww. Hope her daughter gets well soon :P As for Mr Goh, I'm not so clear, but I just knew Clara went a little crazy when she knew that Mr PG wasn't coming. And Ms Siow, I do not know, but I think probably she went overseas. Too bad. YQQ, aiyah, she won't come one lah. I'm very certain (:
4. After all the waterbombs were used up, obviously very fast, and also common sense, there was no more. <-- That's crap... The guys used the small jelly cups and filled them with water, and also they used cans, cups things like this. They just splashed water at the girls. Knowingly they wouldn't splash at GUYS. But I didn't really got splashed by them, because I went up to Alicia's house with HR, she had to go back then. Good thing. When I got back, WOOTS, AMD, WL, YY, everyone was soaked to the bones man. Dripping wet. HAHAHA. And Melissa. I promised to make her wet, I didn't but thankfully the guys did it. MUAHAHAHA. Oh, and YiLong got this water gun.
5. We went to the playground, and the guys were using this really thick roll of newspaper trying to hit things. For what? TO MAKE NOISE. They used that to whack people - punishment - when they played the dice game, which, if you just guessed the number the total value of dots there were, you got to be punished. But it was very very thick, really.
6. Alicia's dogs. Rawr. Which... stinks. HAHA. And... LITTLE HAIRY BEASTS. XD No offence. I don't like dogs. KKK was like touching them and trying to use his DIRTY hands to touch people like HR and me. Grr. And JW, always with the dogs. YY, WL, AMD, SY, MER... loves the two... creatures.

Wei Ling - Grapes (: Also a tall one. Looks innocent but you don't know what she is up to. VERY VERY GOOD TERMS with her medicated oil. If you know what I mean (: hee XD
Yun Yun - Oh, she can really fight with Clara on Christiano and Zidane. Aha. Also a dancer. :P She is brainy too!
Clara - Hmm. This case... She's mad with her Christiano. Always singing his praises. X) Oh, mushroom (:
Nina - Um, nick named Banana. Aha a great friend too. Super well with mushroom ((:
Shu Yun - Very quiet. But a nice friend. Lends her hand to anyone. Helpful! :P
Si Ying - Ha. Only got to know her this year, around Nov or perhaps Oct? But a superb friend still.
Zann and Melissa - Aiya. Not on good terms like before currently. But they were nice. And they had been nice.
Yong Jia Yi - Nice fella too (: I think she's also similar to Alicia, under 'Lee Hom's crazy fans'. Aha.

Anna and Pei Shan - PS is so cute! Adorable aha. Anna is also nice. Looks quiet but don't overlook her (: Yea, never forget her sitting with TQ. Wahaha they were like, in utopia! But sadly they got separated. Really a pity!

Kim Siang - Simply... ADORABLE. Science freak. Brainy too. He always got used by Mrs Goh last year. HILAROUS too! Pure joker.
Kai Kiat - Very vulnerable, Truth or Dare prime victim. But it was hell sitting with him. Never stops snatching my things. But, he's funny at times too (:
Tai Quan - Looks like a little boy. Helpful. Cute >.= Fantastic too XD Knew him since P4, and classmates all the way till now (:
Melvin - English freak. Brainy. DSA-ed into DHS! A pure joker, like KS. The two of them are great friends too.
Xin Ren - FREAKY FREAKING tall. As if he grows non-stop. Knew him since P4 too. TQ and him are marvellous friends together. Both are shuttlers.
Fang Xiang - Come to think of it, always with HongYou, JunWei and JunTang. They really hit it off.
Jun Tang - He's really some sort of businessman-to-be. Super SERIOUS, and has really high expectations. Speaks his english blended with chinese. And sometimes dialect.
Hong You - Brainiest of all. He have been topping the class since 5J 2005 till now. Unbeaten. Mathematics freak, and because of that he got into HCI.
Jun Wei - Loves to play pranks. UNFORGETTABLE. If you know why.
